Who we are
Nyumbani Kwetu
This Land, This Life, This Safari
Private, tailor-made safaris, curated by the people who were raised here.
The name
To prosper
To flourish
To continue
endelea en-deh-leh-ah ·
In Swahili, endelea is what you say to urge someone onward: carry on, keep going, grow. We chose it because it describes what happens to people on safari with us.
Somewhere between the first sunrise over the plains and the last fire under the stars, something in you slows down and opens up. You notice more. You feel more. You flourish.
And when you leave, the feeling doesn’t. It continues — in the stories you carry home, and in the journeys still to come with us. That is the promise in our name, and the standard every safari we curate is held to.
About the founder
Rahim Dawood
For Rahim, the wild was never somewhere to visit. It was home. Raised in Tanzania, he fell in love with its wildlife and open spaces at a young age, and grew up with an explorer’s curiosity and a quiet reverence for the natural world.
That reverence took him beyond the parks and into rural communities. Through years with non-profit organisations, he helped build lasting ways for people to use their natural resources sustainably, and learned that wildlife thrives only when the communities around it thrive too.
In 2019, after years in the travel industry, he founded Endelea Africa to bring his two passions together: exploring the wild and protecting it. Every private, tailor-made safari we curate carries that same spirit, sharing the richness of East Africa with you and helping it continue for the generations who follow.
What drives us
Mission & vision
Two promises, held together by one word: endelea.
Our Mission
To bring the world of safari to you — privately, personally and entirely on your terms. We curate tailor-made journeys through Tanzania and Kenya, shaped around who you are and what moves you. Our wish is simple: that you meet the wildlife, the landscapes and the people of East Africa in a way that lets you flourish — and that the feeling continues with you long after you fly home.

Our Vision
A world where no one is handed a safari off a shelf — where every journey is curated for one couple, one family, one traveller at a time, by the people who call this land home. We see a future in which safari keeps on giving: to the guests who return to continue their story with us, to the communities who welcome them, and to the wild places that must flourish for generations to come.
What we believe
The values behind every Endelea journey
Our values are the promises we keep to every guest: the beliefs that guide how we plan, how we guide and how we care for you. They exist so that you feel what Endelea means — welcomed home, free to flourish in the wild, and already looking forward to continuing the journey with us.
Yours, and only yours
We believe no two people should ever be given the same safari. So we listen before we plan: your story, your pace, the moments you have always dreamed of. Then we curate a private, tailor-made journey around it, and refine it until it feels unmistakably yours. No fixed packages, no group departures.
Shared by those who call it home
We believe the truest way to know East Africa is through the people who call it home. Our guides and planners were raised near the very parks you will explore, so they welcome you as family would — sharing the stories, the seasons and the hidden places that only a lifetime here can reveal.
The journey continues
We believe a safari never truly ends at the airport. Long after your last sunset in the bush, the connection stays — and whenever East Africa calls you back, we will be here to welcome you home again. You leave not as a client, but as part of our family.
Looking forward
Endelea
The journey continues
Every safari we curate is one chapter in a longer story — between you and us, and between the wild places we travel through and the people who protect them.
We hope you leave East Africa feeling more alive than when you arrived, and that the feeling never quite fades. When you are ready for the next chapter, we will be here to begin it with you.
